A Unique Range Of Organic And Plant-Based Products

Located in the Nishi-Azabu area of Tokyo, Oizumi Kojo is part-restaurant and part-grocery store.

The focus here is on organic and plant-based products, with the mindset that taking in food that is good for the body and the environment helps our immune systems, our mind and body balance, and the natural state of the world.

One of the most popular items on the menu at Oizumi Kojo is kombucha, a fermented and slightly fizzy tea drink which is alleged to have a variety of health benefits.

There are several different flavors of the beverage to try, including yuzu, a type of citrus fruit common in Japan. Along with kombucha, you'll find cold-pressed juices, amazake, organic coffee and tea, plant-milk lattes (your choice of oat, almond, soy, or rice milk), and even organic beer, wine, and kombucha cocktails.

As for the eats on offer, there are plenty of those, too. Hearty curries, nourishing soups, colorful salad bowls, and veggie-filled sandwiches are just some of the choices available, alongside a variety of sweet treats like muffins, scones, and cookies.

Seasonally, you'll often find limited-time menu items – for instance, at the moment there are a number of goodies made using pumpkins, purple sweet potatoes, and even charcoal powder for that spooky, Halloween-inspired feel.

If you do happen to live in Tokyo, most of the menu options are available for delivery from Uber Eats.

Even if you're not needing a ready-made meal, Oizumi Kojo has a range of grocery products available that you can add to your at-home pantry staples, including nut butters, organic potato chips, and quinoa to name just a few.
