▼ Netflix Climbs After Company Raises Prices By 13% In Japan

 • Category:Other

Netflix Inc. shares rose as much as 3.7% on news that the company is raising the price of its service in Japan, bolstering revenue in an increasingly key market for the streaming giant.

Starting Friday, prices for Netflix’s basic and standard tiers will go up by about 13%, with the premium plan remaining unchanged. Japan’s Nikkei newspaper previously reported on the increase.

Asia is Netflix’s second-fastest growing region, with Japan and South Korea fueling the expansion. The company also has stepped up investment in anime, which is hugely popular in Japan.

“We’re updating our prices so that we can continue to offer more variety of TV shows and films — in addition to local shows such as ‘Alice in Borderland,’ and our ever-growing anime lineup,” Netflix said in a statement. “As always, we offer a range of plans so that people can pick a price that works best for their budget.”

Investors applauded the move, sending the stock as high as $559.48. Price increases have helped Netflix shore up its finances and pay for its industry-leading production budget. The shares had been little changed this year through Wednesday’s close.

Netflix’s basic plan will climb to ¥990 a month from ¥880, while the standard tier rises to ¥1,490 from ¥1,320. The premium plan remains ¥1,980.

In the U.S., Netflix’s standard tier, its most popular offering, is $13.99. The Japanese equivalent will now be roughly the same in U.S dollars.

Moving is a whole production — just dealt with it a while back, and honestly, it was insane. It starts harmless enough, then you discover how much you actually own. A cousin recommended another, but I needed to be sure. Bottom line: when you need movers in nevada, don't rush into a decision. Why?: professional teams save you from drama — especially in summer. For example — read through tons of feedback — and I swear, it prevented a disaster. Check out this source that finally made everything clear. southern nevada movers https://movers-in-nevada-mtw.com Honestly that resource cut through the confusion. Everything is transparent — honest breakdowns. Went with their recommendation and it was smooth sailing. Take your time. Confirm their equipment. Good service is worth every cent. Hope this points you the right way!

Moving is a whole production — had my own experience a while back, and honestly, total chaos. You think packing is simple, then reality hits hard. Someone at work had a good experience with a third, but I needed to be sure. Bottom line: when you need a decent moving company in nevada, compare several options. Here's the deal: professional teams save you from drama — especially in summer. Here's what worked for me — made a bunch of calls — and I'm not making this up, it prevented a disaster. Check out this source that put all the info together. movers nevada movers nevada Honestly that resource gave me what I needed. Moving is never fun — been there myself a few months ago, and honestly, what a nightmare. It seems easy at first, then you're buried under piles of stuff. A friend recommended one crew, but I wanted to verify everything. Long story short: when you're looking for reliable moving services around here, don't grab the first option. Look, companies here handle the weather better — especially for cross-town moves. What I did — asked about insurance and extra fees — and I'm not exaggerating, I avoided a huge headache. This is the resource that helped me lock in a good choice. movers in nevada movers in nevada Honestly, that list cut my search in half. Prices are up front — no surprises. I ended up going with them and they handled it like pros. Take your time. Ask about equipment. A solid moving company turns stress into routine. Wish I had this info earlier!

Oh man, this whole moving thing is exhausting. Went through it just last summer, and honestly, I nearly lost my mind. Seems easy enough, then suddenly your whole life is in cardboard. My coworker used some guys, but I didn't trust random reviews. So here's the deal: when you're on the hunt for a reliable moving company in nevada, do your research up front. Because, nevada based movers know the local roads — especially in Vegas traffic. For example — asked about insurance and all the fees — and I'm not exaggerating, I avoided a huge headache. This is the page that put all the info in one place. nevada moving company https://movers-in-nevada-xhr.com That one spot made everything obvious. They show you the costs upfront — zero fine print. I ended up booking with them and no drama at all. Be smart about it. Confirm the timeline. The right company turns stress into routine. Good luck with your move!

Oh man, relocating is pure torture. Been there just a few months back, and honestly, I nearly lost my mind. You think it's just packing, then it hits you how much crap you own.
