A Projection Mapping Display In Collaboration With Teamlab

The TeamLab art collective are the brains behind some of Japan's best-known interactive projection mapping displays, with TeamLab Borderless (now closed), TeamLab Planets, and various other pop-up events delighting local and international visitors alike.

A new Tokyo-based TeamLab exhibit commenced this November in collaboration with luxury fashion house Bulgari, and it's free to take part in.

Bulgari Serpenti Sparkle 2022 incorporates the brand's well-known snake motif onto their Ginza headquarters, which has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom and patience since Ancient Roman times.

The interactive LED snake can change colors via the commands of visitors – a simple scan of a QR code via a smartphone allows you to transform the majestic serpent into various sparkling shades.

The Serpenti Sparkle event runs from 5pm until midnight, and as yet no end date for the display has been provided by TeamLab. More information can be found on the official event website.

Getting there

The Bvlgari building in Ginza can be accessed in just a minute on foot from Ginza Itchome Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. The closest exit to the venue is exit 9.
