Venue: Kurihara & Zama When: Jul 19th - Aug 14th 2018 ,  10:00am - 5:00pm

 

Zama's city flower is the sunflower. In late July through August more than 550,000 flowers bloom and the city celebrates with a two-part festival.

 

During the festival, you can enjoy music and entertainment, eat yummy food and buy farm-fresh produce. Sample sunflower pasta, crackers and beverages.

 

You can purchase an array of products, from Sunflower seeds to Sunflower beer, cider and shochu. This is fun for the whole family and a community event not to be missed.

 

The festival is held in 2 locations, including Kurihara (late July) and Zama (mid-August).
