Home brewed sake for all

Venue: Koami Jinja Shrine When: Tuesday - Nov 28th 2017,  9:00am - 6:00pm

The Koami Shrine holds a doburoku (sake) festival annually on the 28th of November. It is otherwise known as a harvest festival, where rice and sake are offered to Gods.

Following the offering rites, priests of Koami Shrine will offer doburoku (home-brewed sake) to visitors in prayer for productivity for grain, good health and fortune.

In addition, the Sato-kagura Shinto dance designated as intangible folklore cultural asset will be performed around noon, so be sure to stay around for that.
