Okinawa Likely To Report Around 980 COVID Cases

The governor of Okinawa in southern Japan, Tamaki Denny, says the prefecture's tally of coronavirus cases for Thursday is expected to come to around 980.
That would mark the highest daily count for Okinawa, surpassing the previous record of 809 cases reported on August 25 of last year.
