Residents of Kesennuma now hold the distinction of creating the country's longest tuna roll.
Almost 1,300 people, including tourists, helped make the giant sushi roll. They used 187 pounds of tuna, 1,200 pounds of rice and 1,700 sheets of seaweed to make the creation that stretches 1,000-feet long.
