Visitors enjoy the fragrance of soshin robai (a variety of winter sweet) flowers on Saturday at Showa Kinen Park, which straddles Tachikawa and Akishima in Tokyo.
There are about 650 trees at the park with these sweet flowers, which turn completely yellow as they bloom. The flowers will be at their best through early February. The park is closed on New Year’s Day.
