▼ Uno Tops Men’s SP, Japan 3rd After 1st Day of Team Skate

Japan, led by Shoma Uno’s first-place finish in the men’s singles short program, was in third place after the first day of the team figure skating event at the Pyeongchang Olympics on Friday.
Uno scored 103.25 points to finish ahead of Alexei Bychenko of Israel and Patrick Chan of Canada. In the pairs, Miu Suzaki and Ryuichi Kihara finished eighth, leaving Japan in third place overall.
The competition continues with the ice dancing and women’s singles short programs on Sunday.
