JAPANESE STATION
 
A photograph of the statue of Gundam found in Jed's Island Resort is located in Bulacan, the Philippines has been circulating online recently.
 
The statue was made by the RX-78-2 Gundam model, which was first seen in the original TV series Mobile Suit Gundam. Compared with those found in Tokyo, Japan, which stands 18 meters tall, the statue was found in the resort as high as 21 meters, 3 meters higher than the scale of 1: 1 which is supposed from the original Gundam.
 
Even if that's the case, what makes most fans disturbed is that the statue was not accurate in details. But who cares, the original TV series only have a few animations that bad, so bad that one episode was canceled in some home video release of the TV series because of the desire of the director of Gundam, Yoshiyuki Tomino.
