▼ Ikee Wins 4th Title At Japan Swimming Championship

Rikako Ikee won the women’s 50-meter butterfly in 25.56 seconds, a personal best since returning to the sport since her fight against leukemia, at the Japan swimming championships on Saturday at the Tokyo Aquatics Center. Ikee is the Japan record holder in the women’s 50-meter butterfly at 25.11.
Later on Saturday, Ikee also won the 50 freestyle, which marked her fourth win as an individual.
It is the first time in three years that Ikee has participated in the championships and has also won the 100 butterfly and 100 freestyle.
Ikee has all but officially been selected as a member of the national team for the 400 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.
