▼ Special Bus Promotes Tokyo Paralympics

With Saturday marking 500 days before the opening of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, a promotional bus featuring Someity, the mascot for the Tokyo Paralympics, and pink Someiyoshino cherry tree flowers, drove around the construction site for the new National Stadium in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo, and other sites.
The Paralympic Games, which will be held next year from Aug. 25 to Sept. 6, will feature 540 events spanning 22 sports. A record 4,400 athletes are expected to participate.
The game’s organizing committee launched a promotional campaign for the Paralympics on April 3 in which special buses drive around all 19 venues for the Games. On Friday, the bus drove around Shibuya and Shinjuku stations.
